The building needed four different floors under one package, each suited to how its area is used: controlled rooms, technical areas, a climate-controlled warehouse and general commercial space.
Static dissipative flooring and coved vinyl in the controlled environments, timber plank flooring around the perimeter of the technical areas, and a self-levelling epoxy system in the climate-controlled warehouse.
Static dissipative flooring and coved vinyl gave the controlled rooms a continuous, cleanable floor with static control. Timber plank gave the areas around the technical rooms a warmer finish, and self-levelling epoxy gave the warehouse a seamless, hard-wearing surface.
JA Floors delivered all four systems as one package for BIO Construct, including the junctions where the different floors meet.
